INTERACT Scientific Coordinator receives IASC medal

Professor Terry Callaghan is awarded the IASC Medal for his outstanding contributions to international Arctic science collaboration.

The IASC Medal 2017 is awarded to Professor Terry Callaghan, not only for his research on Arctic environmental and terrestrial ecosystem processes, but especially for his exceptional capability of bringing large research teams together. The IASC summarises: "Many scientists realise the value of networking, but it takes a fiery spirit like Prof. Callaghan's to make it happen."
Terry Callaghan will receive his medal and also present an award lecture at the Arctic Science Summit Week in Prague in April.
