3rd Circular: C/H2O/Energy balance and climate over boreal and arctic regions with special emphasis on eastern Eurasia
The symposium will be held 10-12 November, 2014, in Wageningen, The Netherlands. Registration deadline is 15 September 2014.
The symposium aims to discuss and integrate the results of field studies in Siberian permafrost ecosystems, as well as discuss further research cooperation. Much of the research is done at the Spasskaya Pad Taiga Research Station near Yakutsk and the tundra research stations around Chokurdakh which contribute to the EU-INTERACT network and EU-PAGE21 project. Although the emphasis in the symposium is on field observations, contributions from remote sensing and modeling approaches are also welcome.
In the attached third circular (pdf) you will find more details, including a preliminary program. Register soon if you plan to attend this symposium!
