Image gallery

This image gallery is a small selection of images provided by INTERACT project members, showing different aspects of the Arctic. Most are taken at or near INTERACT arctic research stations and several show the stations and their surrounding environment.

We've grouped images into themed collections, which you can select from the menu on the left. The images below are small selection taken from these collections.

Where appropriate, we've included links to additional information. You can find these links in the image captions and below the thumbnail images on gallery pages.

How to use:

  • Click on an image to enlarge it
  • To move to the next / previous enlarged image, move your mouse to the left or right side of the image and click
  • To start a slideshow, click any image, then click the 'Play' arrow (►) below the image on the right. You can pause the slideshow at any time with the pause button (װ)
  • Click a link to more information, which should open in a new window or tab.
